Windows 7 Installation (Ensure all windows updates are up to date and installed and the driver should be in the list of drivers):
- Open Device Manager
- Right click on "Unknown Device"
- Click on "Update Driver Software..."
- Click "Browse my computer for driver software"
- Click on "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
- Click on "Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class" and click Next
- Select "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [8/13/2009]" and click next
- You will get a warning message. Click "Yes"
- Upon the completion of the installation you will see a "Windows has successfully updated your driver software"
